In celebration of the occasion, KISW is kicking off Rock Girl Gala
Week on Friday. Details are below. In a nut-shell, we're going to

We
are about a week away from the Rock Girl Gala. I
am so stoked...I love our big parties, and I especially
love the thrill of jumping on stage and rocking
out with the New Originals. We have been hard at
work at learning some new songs...one of them being
RUN DMC's version of "Walk This Way."
Speaking of RUN DMC, we had Run's bro Russell Simmons
on the show on Wednesday. Russell has been in the
news recently for all of the Imus controversy, and
you can hear that interview, as well as anything
we have done on our show by downloading our daily

delights tizzle and tantlize our interest in this

It's
a healthy dose of nostalgia on this weeks Pod Dammit.
TV Land had an award show last week honoring old
ass TV shows. If I heard there was an awards show
honoring NEW shows, I wouldn't watch it. But apparently
there is some sort of draw to giving awards to washed
upped actors on dated shows. Oh well, the point
is it gave us an excuse to talk about TV. TV is
cool, but we also talk to a fella who made a fish
tank toilet, how cool is that? Cool. Beer
time.

week away. Starting Friday it's Rock Girl Gala Week
on THE ROCK! We'll be giving away DOUBLE the tickets
this week. This weekend we have an exclusive hook
up for Rockaholic Club members to kick it off. Starting
Friday at 6pm-Sunday at 10pm we'll give away tickets
to caller 9 on the Rock Lines AND caller 9 on the
Rockaholic Hotline. (206-626-0999). Starting Monday
morning at 6 we'll give away a pair of tickets to
callers 9 AND 10 on the Rock Lines every hour from
6am-10pm all week.

liquor and be available May 4th to perform in front
of thousands at this years KISW Rock Girl Gala. Send
